Their tech support or sales team? I have a few exchanges with them a couple years ago and they treated me pretty well, but who knows how they are these days. Not too much here though. Just lifted at the gym for a couple hours and then got a light lunch. Going to hang out and relax for the rest of the day, most likely. I don't get much time off work, so when I do, I like to do as little as possible haha. Doing anything fun this weekend?

I have a switch platforms from Windows to Mac and it's so much harder than I thought it would be.

Hah, nah, I meant who were you calling. But sounds like a fun time. At least you guys don't have to work Sundays? Most of my days are 18 hours lately, so there's always that!
Yep, switching between the two usually requires a completely different license. No fun.

haha yeah. I work 40 hour weeks sometimes.
It's really not. I still haven't figured it out because my dad got it for my for christmas, so everything is in his name and he's home when I'm at work and I'm home when he's at work. It's ridiculous.

Haha that does sound like a headache. Maybe there's some way around it? Who knows. They gave me a wicked military hook up the last time I bought Photoshop. I'm not sure what the military needs with Photoshop by at leas there is a big discount.

haha nice. I usually get a student discount since I go to the local community college but it's not a huge advantage since I already spent the money once.

Yeah, true. That part is kind of lame. I would suggest piracy, but that's probably not the best solution.

yeah that's what my friend wanted me to do. Got me a torrent and everything. It's just not the same and if my dad found out I would my keys, internet....everything probably. haha

Ha, yep, best to avoid the stealing part. Eh, well, if worse comes to worse, you can just use Microsoft Paint.

dear lord never. Paint sucks. And I don't even have it anymore on my mac.

Doing well. I actually haven't had internet for a long time because I just got sent to Georgia to work at the submarine base here. Finally got it and ready to get back online and poke around. Otherwise though, an easy day at work followed by a good work out. You can't beat it!

summerxstars In reply to lemontea [2012-07-03 13:33:34 +0000 UTC]
That's interesting. So you like work with submarines?
I haven't had internet for the last 4 days so far because I am in that part of the east coast without power. This is the beginning of day 4 and it's absolutely miserably hot inside my house. A good friend of mine has power so I've just been camping out on her couch and using her internet.
The funny thing is that I don't really miss internet and that stuff at all. The only reason why I would like to have power is because it's just so stinking hot.
That sounds nice Since my place of employment is one of the few restaurants with power I'm on call all week basically. It really sucks. Customers aren't happy and then we run out of fries and shake base and then they are even more unhappy. It just makes for a horrid evening.
Anyway, I can't wait til I can work out. The only reason I haven't been doing just that is because if I go work out at home there's really no way for me to cool off..and it's over 100 degrees and humid. Blah.
Anyway, hope you're having a good day.

Well, not directly at the moment. I'm actually working at a Trident nuclear missile training facility. And, instead of doing nuclear engineering, which is my rate (job), I am currently assigned to be the supply petty officer... so I do orders and inventory. But, it's an easy job inside under the A/C and I get to have my cell phone on me (no classified information around me) and I can use the computer (but most websites are blocked).
Sorry to hear about the internet and the loss of power. Does not sound very fun at all! Gotta keep cool in a heat like this.
Ah, food service. What a fun industry. I don't like dealing with people in that capacity very much, or making food unless it's for me to eat. Hah. But, money is money, right?
Having a great day here. I got off early for the fourth and I have all of tomorrow off as well. Basically will just be working out for the most part. Knowing a bunch of Sailors, it'll involve alcohol and barbeque by some point. Hah.

summerxstars In reply to lemontea [2012-07-03 23:00:55 +0000 UTC]
That's interesting. My dad used to do that but since he's a manager now he doesn't do much of the engineering. That sounds like an interesting job.
yeah for real. the heat is so unbearable it really makes everyone want to kill themselves. I just look like a hippie with my nasty power outage get up. landlines are back up though so the internet is working again. Not that that was a huge deal in the first place, but at least now there it something to do.
Yeah. I normally love the job, but in this heat it's miserable and people are so rude. It's just not enjoyable at all. money is money and after this wekk hopefully I'll have a good pay check
fun! I don't think I'm doing anything for the fourth. I think the majority of people in this power outage have forgotten. haha I've already done my fair share of drinking this week, so I'm okay with missing out at parties this year. Have fun

Moving on up is the right way. I'd like to be in a management position eventually.
The heat has been ridiculous. I walk outside and I'm sweating. No fun. But, like you say, money is money.
Hope you had a good fourth, and a good July!

Yeah. The heat chased me into the pool where I almost tore my mcl playing football. Here's to being a bum for a couple months. My new knee brace already squeaks.
haha my fourth of july actually seriously sucked. But thanks for the best wishes haha how was yours?

Looks like you can't catch a break. Mine was okay, and then I got food poisoning and was not feeling good for the next two days after. Oh well!

I can, I'm just tired. haha I just coughed up 2000 bucks for fall classes and I still have to get text books so I can't complain about double shifts.

I'll explain it in a note later - have to go to the theater with school, so yeah.
You can't suck at it unless you actually know how to do it and still gets it wrong. So give it a while and I'll explain. Btw, no, I don't do shit in school :b
