thank you very much for the comment on dials. I agree totally about the glare, unfortunately the computer I'm on now has nothing to edit photos with at all, other than paint, and it wont open any of mine cause tyhey're too big and this computer is too slow. when I get back home I'll update a few shots and upload anything I havent put up yet (including that damn "lost" picture of the meters)

in response to one of your forum posts. centering a subject could be appropriate at times. it all depends on what you want to do. most of the time its boring and expected but sometimes (such as perspective shots) putting the focus in the center means all sides get an equal view. im not saying you were wrong just sayin it's not always black and white like you had said.
