I've seen it twice! The first time I couldn't help comparing it with the book. It seemed to go by very fast and a lot of the details were different but they got the spirit of it right. The second time I just watched as a movie and I absolutely loved it. How about you?

Haha, I hope to see it again, but we'll see. Yeah, when I saw it I compared it with the book, too, but I'd also known going in that they made some changes. Most of them didn't bother me--except one--and on the whole I thought it was one of the better book-to-movie adaptions I've seen. :) (Smile)

(Eh, I feel bad posting a slight spoiler! But...)

That Peeta didn't get a prosthetic leg in the end. I thought that was such an interesting detail in the books.

I actually thought him almost dying in the book was what really nudged Katniss toward realizing she loved him. Or--could love him. *shrugs* I don't think it would've made the movie too dramatic to include, but... oh wells. :P (Lick)
