Hi! I have a little question about pole dance. I wondered if males too could do it, because I was thinking of drawing one of my OCs as pole dancer. I already drew him doing it, but I wasn't satisfied with the anatomy and the coloring and now I have your great photos as possible reference... but I never saw a male doing pole dance. Is it possible in your opinion?

of course men can also do pole dance, and they're very strong.
I specially like this two guys: Evgeny Greshilov and Alex Schukin. Search for them on google, and you can see why.

I'll keep your reply so I'll be able to see these artists. But i wondered if men do different poses from women, since men usually have stronger muscles while women are more flexible. I'll use your works as reference, and in your works I see just women, so I'm afraid to do a mess.

why would they do different poses? strength and flexibility is something that is personal to each human being, it would be silly to have segregated choreography

Well, I thought that men could feel embarrassed doing the same poses, because they would be considered feminine. I prefer asking so if it's the same I can use her photos and then draw a male character.

not unless they are shamed into by people who do not understand what they are doing, even then the insult would not be that it is 'unmanly' it takes a lot of strength, willpower, and guts to do something so difficult and prone to causing bruises

You are welcome! Maybe I'll use one or two of your stock works as reference (crediting you, sure) because I already drew pole dancers but I never feel satisfied of how they come out. In your photos muscles are perfectly noticeable!
