# About me

I was born in 1962. I live in Szentendre. My oil paintings are made with brushes and other conventional graphic tools, constantly creating new methods which are invented and developed mostly by myself. However, these techniques have nothing to do with any of airbrush techniques or surfaces created by photo or computer methods. I make each and every piece of my work by hand. Sometimes tools are literally substituted by my fingers.
During my studies I have had a number of famous masters who have taught me the principles of art, though it was nature itself which helped me to find my own style.
Therefore I paint imaginary flowers, fish, birds and other organic compositions which may as well stand for alternative models of evolution. For a couple of years I have been dealing more with the portrayal of the man. Following the traditions of Renaissance painters I try to create my own visual world. My works are inspired of those of the greatest masters of the era, based on their tradition. However, during those several hundreds of years since Leonardo and Tiziano art has been greatly changed and modernised. Still, I feel that painting techniques and tools of today are suitable to reform the long gone Renaissance painting.
