Nice stuff... there's something about the style of it that sorta reminds me of some books of scary stories I've seen -- cobwebby and thin and gory and just... some sort of very past-cool quality that I can't seem to duplicate for the life of me.
One thing I would suggest, though... you might like the results of dragging a few of these wonderful pics through the likes of Photoshop to do some levelling work.. the contrasts are a bit low in some pieces, and some of the finer detail seems to get lost in the scanner's interpretation of the paper being gray (it happens to me all the time!). I'm sure a good quick levelling job would bring all those details right out...
At any rate, they just scream.

Ah thank you so much, it's actually an ambition of mine to illustrate books, that just seems such a wonderful job to me ^_^
And about the contrast and stuff, I'm not really that good with photoshop and stuff like that.. I did try to draw with that stuff once or twice, but it didn't feel that good. I think I'm just an analog drawer.
likewise.. I glad I found the legacyofkian clan, it has some kickass artists. And a good way to meet some people, because i don't know that much people on deviantart

Well, I'm a Photoshop junkie myself... so if you need help with anything in it, let me know and I'll point you in the right direction.
As for the contrast settings... just open the pic, and go up to Image -> Adjust -> Levels and play around with that a bit till you find something you like.
....ya wouldn't believe how long it took me to find that out... since I just jumped into Photoshop and learned it by experimentation. *lol* Simple tools before the filters, here, but I'm figuring it out.
and I ramble.
So yeah... keep up the awesome work, and lemme know if I can help you with anything.

yeah, she's amazing, im now busy working my way through the novels of the mayfairs ('lasher' now) and ive read every book of the vamp chronicles except blood and gold. U just can't get enough of those books
