So like, I really should post something here otherwise this space looks so lonely :)I have the strange interest of cosplay photography. Im sure it also extends to human and portrait photography too, but I haven't given that a go yet.
It all started at AVCon 2009. I was a convention (or in this case connection) newbie fascinated by all the wonderful and unique colours and designs that the world of cosplay has to offer. At the time with my dinky compact in hand I got around so much that I needed to bring its battery charger along for the weekend too :) Nowdays I have a beginner DSLR and am slowly learning the ropes. I still suck though :)
Find me at your (my) local cosplay event, I try to make it to as many as possible to take photos of this wonderful culture.
I wont have much in the way of submissions to DA, as they will be posted by the actual cosplayers in the photos themselves, but you can find my dumps on both flickr www.flickr.com/photos/terrastr⦠and facebook www.facebook.com/photos.php?id⦠.

we get in on the friday and leave on the tuesday so any of those 3 days we are all good to go!
Im pretty sre the sets we are bringing are Sakura and Syaoran from Tsubasa and Grell and Madam Red from Kuroshitsuji so you have idea of who we are cosplaying!!

I have a couple locations in mind, both are in the CBD, free public transport/short walks. Hopfully they wont be too busy during a weekday.

ehhh, sights... yeah, not really many in adelaide, haha.
adelaide you can do in a day because even if you WALK it only takes 25-30 minutes to walk from one end of the cbd to the other
