# About me
here goes. more stuff about me than you would ever want to know.i was officially greeted to the planet on august 29th 1983 in västerås, sweden. i was always a weird kid. made my own clothes, obsessed with the idea of growing up to become a mermaid and wrote intensly strange short stories. my family and i went to morocco every summer from the time i was a baby, to visit relatives (dads side). the last time i went, my relatives bought a lamb, slaughtered it and finally realizing what meat really was, i never ate it again. i was 11.
i moved to america when i was 20. went to santa monica college. got myself an immigration lawyer and filed for permanent residency. ive been here ever since. sweden is fantastic, in almost every way. cheap living, exciting big citys like stockholm and extremly friendly people. but i always wanted to live somewhere where i wouldnt have to deal with snow or freezing tempetures. just not my jam.
i started tattooing about 5 years ago, out in venice beach. it was always super busy back then, since the shitty economy hadnt hit yet. there has since been at least a trillion new shops opened in LA. that plus everyone being broke has equalled the business slowing down ALOT in these parts. so now, as of six or so months, i tattoo at home.
i met daniel in march of 2010 at a club in hollywood called cinespace. we’ve been together since april 5th 2010 and have lived together almost the entire time. he is pretty much the coolest thing ever, and him, our pitbull slug and I form an intensly cute little family.
i go thrift store shopping ALOT. i love finding things for next to nothing and that no one else can find. the main stores i go to are goodwill, jetrag, wasteland and buffalo exchange. i collect toys from the 80’s. also toys that arnt really toys “for kids” like gloomy bear, camille rose garcia, hello kitty, domo, tokidoki etc.
other things at random:
i passionately love popcorn. i sometimes dress like a pin-up but dont listen to any rockabilly or psychobilly (tiger army dosnt count right?). i absolutely love animals and always smile at dogs when i pass them in the street. the first album i ever owned was janet jacksons “rythm nation” at age 7. i am not into “sleek futuristic looking” furniture at all. my favorite meal in the entire world is vegan ribs with mashed potatoes. i took dance lessons for 8 years and was planning on becoming a dance choreographer for quite a while. im not a big reader but every now and then come across something that captivates me enough. i have been trying to grow my eyebrows back for about a year and so far have fuzz (too many years of plucking, it will take time). i love documentaries. i like the gents as well as the ladies but have only had one real gf. bugs gross me out tremendously. i get annoyed with people who point out my height, i am aware that im tiny but at least i can wear heels without being an ogre. i have the word “patience” written in the tattoo on my right hand to remind me not get ahead of myself. i hate soda and instead drink orange juice. i have absolutely fantastic parents that love me to death and am extremly grateful for it. i have been to most european countries. i love the combination of hoop earings through plugs. i have a brother, two years my senior named Stevie. im insanely nice and refuse to let living in LA “harden” me into an shitty person. my best friend Mindee lives almost two hours from me and we hardly get to see each other, but she is my heart and one of the few people that i know will always be there for me. the little mermaid is my favorite disney movie. i took japanese in college but have pretty much managed to forget 90% of it. i get ridiculously turned on by being wispered to close enough to feel breath on my neck. i will never be too old to have christmas lights up year round. im not a fan of huge rollercoasters, space mountain is pretty much as big as ill go. i had a guinneapig when i was 11 named Pip. if i could be best friens with any celebrity, it would be Will Ferrell. im awsome at giving neckrubs. i prefer waffels to pancakes. i despise doing laundry because of how long it takes. the first band i ever saw live was placebo. i get super excited about halloween and dogs in costumes make my year. im horrible at math. it takes me around an hour to fall asleep. i have no accent at all and people sometimes dont believe that im swedish when i tell them. i prefer starbucks to any other coffee place. i have never broken a bone. im a really bad swimmer so being ”playfully” pushed into a pool equalls me pretty much being furious. i once went to a quickie wedding in vegas provided over by an elvis impersonator. ive given myself a black eye falling off my skateboard. when i was in high school i sang Jewel’s “you belong to me” in front of the entire school, just me and an acoustic guitar, at a talent show. i adore fancy lingerie. im not out doorsy at all. i love tarina tarantino. daniel and i have tattoos on our thumbs that form a heart when we hold hands. the only vinyl i currently own is billy idol. my favorite designer is betsey johnson. i have had dreads past my waist but have lost all pics due to an old computer crash. the only places in america ive been are LA, NY, las vegas and new mexico. im crap at sports and completely uninterested. i find black suspenders, blue eyes and squinted smirks very sexy. i went through a gothic industrial phase. i hate having dreams where cool things happening cause i wake up dissapointed. im a moustache lover but a beard hater.
