They may have created pedobear but they do not designate what others use it for that is why they had to write that. The very fact that they did tells you what it is used for. There are pictures scattered even on DA (used to be at least) of PedoBear raping children or a child. If their idea had not been twisted in such a way they would not have to write that on their site.

You can't control who uses images and who doesn't, if they're available publicly and free to use like Pedobear is. There are bad people out there, ones who would, yes, twist Pedobear's image by promoting rape, child molestation, ect. Some people use it for that reason. And that's why the warning is up there. Warning against those people.

There are good people too. People who use pedobear in good taste and good humor. Usually with minimal mention of a minor.
