Mini-Animania (Sydney; Anime) March 22nd (I know, as bad as it is, this was my first convention as an attendee so I figured I'll give it a proper goodbye)

Perth OzComicCon (Perth; PopCulture etc) March 29th-30th

GC Supanova (Gold Coast; PopCulture etc) April 5th-6th

Melbourne Supanova (Melbourne; PopCulture etc) April 12th-13th

I'm thinking about it, mainly because I saw the prices for tables for the artist alley, and it's absolutely ridiculous! If I booked a table, I'll be charged at a much higher rate just because I'm selling artwork AND jewelry. *sigh*

Well I have contacted Sydney Olympic Park for permission to sell my cupcakes and waiting for a reply but I will be going to Animania in September. I will also be going to some local events as well. 

How about you? 

Also I'm supper jelly because the Gold Cost and Melbourne because Finn and Princess Bubblegum are going as "Super Star Guests"!!!

Sweet, hopefully they get back to you soon with good news! I haven't decided on going to Animania Sept. yet, mainly because yeah... it was quite empty last year, but we'll see. Local's always good, travel wise I mean. And at least it'll be a different crowd.

As for me, I'm heading interstate again, to Waicon, a Perth Anime Convention. It'll be my first time there so hopefully it goes well.

Oh yeah, as soon as Supanova mentioned them, I swear I heard the whole of Australia scream for joy. Maybe they'll come to the Sydney one, you never know

Oh my gosh yeah I read it and a bit of me cried. It used to be an awesome event and it's sad to see it like this (but in all fairness, this kind of thing was going to happen).

I'm not too sure to be honest, I'm worried no one will go How about you?

If I don't go as an artist, I'll go as an attendee (unless the tickets are super crazy high)

Yeah it's pretty sad. But I emailed them back and they said hat they are going to try to advertise for it a lot. They also said they are trying to do a interview with channel 7!!
