Thank you so much! I really like your gallery. I like that you can really tell the "mood" I guess it is, from each character. You portray emotion very well.

Lol, I should post some of my anime "attempts". You would be very proud of your work if you saw it. Its a horrible mess, lol. I love realism, and I wish I had a huge wonderful imagination but the fact is, I can usually draw what I see, and screw up what I imagine, lol. Ehh, we each have our gifts right, lol.

How would you scan a 18" X 36" drawing. My portfolio is mostly large drawings, I think I can just take a digital photo but I don't know that it will turn out as detailed as I would like. Have you ever heard of a large print scanner or something like that? Also, with tax returns I am planning on getting a pad and drawing programs, any suggestions?

I think you're thinking along the right lines, Corel PainterXI is one of the best choices, or the latest (or later) Photoshop programs. For Tablets, something by Wacom. Other than that it's just preference. I know there are larger than 8.5X10 scanners available, i just don't know where to find them to be honest.
I normally scan a larger picture in fractions and then piece it together in Photoshop to make it look like it was cleanly scanned. It takes practice and some patience

Nice, about fragmenting the scans. I will wait until I have a decent scanner that doesn't bend the hell outta the paper. Good idea though.
