I have seen it. ^^ I thought it was pretty good for the most part, but it wasn't really anything new and extraordinary. It's a fun movie if you just want to see more of the same sort of thing that's in all the other Pirate movies.

I've actually heard a bunch of people say that they liked it more than the third one, although I'd have difficulty ranking them since I like different things about them. ^____^ But yeah, it was worth the cost of the ticket for sure.

That's a fair evaluation. :3 I saw it with a group and was the ONLY PERSON who thought it kind of fell below the standard of the franchise up til that point. xD; I'm one of the fans that enjoyed the complexity of the plot arc of the second and third movies (although I can see why people thought it was something of an overload... like I almost feel the story would work equally well/better as a novel), but I agree that #4 was entertaining at the least. :]

That's kinda my reaction too... I thought that 4 made a nice sort of epilogue to the first three. I've also heard a LOT of people complain about the third one, but I thought it was plotty and fun. ^^ I don't really go into one of these movies expecting something profound, and honestly most of the appeal is in the cheesy humour and ostentatious special effects anyways.

I wholeheartedly agree. :D LOL I've got to admit that I nearly died at Jack's wooden-booze-leg-envy in #4 xD I'm going to Italy with my friend in July, and her grandmother (who we're staying with for a few nights) has a boyfriend with wooden leg, and the dude is obsessed with putting salt on all his food, so now I'm continually joking that he should take a hint from Barbossa and fill his leg with salt. xDD ...cheesy humour ftw indeed.

Yes indeedy! I'm on this psycho artistic rampage where I'm churning out like 7 effortless sketches a day, so I decided to tackle him~ :3 (tucked behind a street corner looking a tad somber, with a certain bakery evident in the distance...)

Ahaha, you are quite welcome, nothing like the knowledge of gift art to provide a boost. x3 I'll see if I can finish & scan the sketch tonight, although I do intend to paint it. :D

And I am loving the stubble. ^^ I've never drawn it on him, but I've usually pictured him somewhat scruffy looking, and it definitely looks right on him. And he looks like Emmet and he looks the right age, too, which is fantastic. ^_^
