Hey,

My name is Tom Schreurs, 23 years old from Belgium.
I work as a freelance artist. Most of the time i do graphic design and 3D for companies in Belgium. But i never given up my dream to work on movies and game projects!

oefenen ;) (Wink) en een beetje inzicht hebben
probeer anders met jouw bestaande posters de kleuren te veranderen,lichter/donkerder etc

yes, I do. Without the tablet I won't be able to do that kind of stuff, photoshop is the main software I use, sometimes combined with corel's painter.

i just want to now i want to paint to some day..

it depends, but because the aim of the cosplay and custom figure paintings is to incorporate the real figure (photo) into an new surrounding I use a photo as starting point as first layer and them overpaint them, working with textures and stuff similar to a digial matte painting technique. Thats the basic idea.

Tom, je vroeg over mijn werk, ik had dit al in een reactie geschreven, maar doe het ook maar even hier.

Tuurlijk mag je dat vragen, ik ben tekenaar/contructeur op weg naar junior engineer in de electrotechische brance. Maar ik ben vanaf mijn 15e al bezig met programma's als AutoCAD e.d., inmiddels al 10-15 met Photoshop, yep een van de eerste versies heb ik gezien. Daarnaast veel met 3D gedaan (AutoCAD 3Dstudio en 3Dmax), hier heb ik vele realistische zaken in gemaakt, veelal meubels, maar ook studies voor architectuur voor een modelbouw project heb ik een bestand trein station in 3D gezet. Modelbouw is/was mijn allereerste grootste hobby.

PS als je ook van fotografie houd is dit wellicht nog een tip: www.wfcfotobeeld.com mijn twee jaar geleden opgerichte digitale fotoclub, met inmiddels over de 900 leden uit binnen en buitenland, dus ook redelijk wat leden uit Belgie.

Ja je hebt precies al veel ervaring in 3D en Photoshop. Ik ben nu 3 maanden bezig met 3D Maya. Ik vind toch wel dat ik al goed opschiet :) (Smile) ... Binnen kort heb ik van school uit een Exit (tentoonstelling) van mijn gip. Ik hoop dat hier intressante mensen naar toekomen en misschien zo aan een job kan geraken.

Ik ga zeker eens naar je fotoclub kijken en nog veel succes met je club
