# About me
The "3" is silent.I'm old: really, really, really old. Most people think that disqualifies me from being any kind of artist. However, it turns out that the older you get, the more flexible your mind becomes and the less trivial stuff you care about. But I'll let that go.
Being so terribly ancient, I've done a number of things. I was a professional graphic artist for eight years in Southern California. We did a lot of packaging, so I've seen more dog food and vitamin labels than most people care about. Mind you, I was a "graphic artist" and not a "designer." I did more of the nuts and bolts kinds of things. I know how many points are in a pica and I know why 72 points didn't necessarily add up to an inch.
Towards the end of that career, there was this newfangled thing called the Internet. I left graphic design and became a computer programmer because I wanted more power to do cool stuff. I've been a computer programmer now for longer than most other Deviants have been out of high school. My web site is left over from that transition. It has games. But of course, they're really, really, really ancient games that no one has ever heard of like checkers.
I work in the oil industry, but I've never thought of myself as an oil guy. In fact, I'm a little concerned that I'm helping out in an industry that wants to rape the planet for money, but...it pays the bills.
I figured I can get out of this business, and leave programming, if I can figure out how to write books. I've done a small bit of fiction, but non-fiction seems more straightforward, especially for a computer engineer like me. To write books, I need to illustrate them. To illustrate, I need photographs. So, I've become something of a photographer. God help me.
About a year ago, something funny happened. I started raiding the local art supply store. I bought pencils, paper, clay, paint, glitter, glue, and anything else that looked interesting. And I started playing.
I decided that photography was fun and I started doing it for its own sake. And to do photography, you need to photograph something...or someone. I joined a web site for models and photographers and started looking at everything. I joined deviantArt. And then I realized that if you're going to photograph a model, you'll need make-up, hair, and clothing. So, I started making a costume. Costumes are fun.
I'll have to let you know how the story ends later.

you may have donated to, is an art thief. claiming other people's work as her own.
she has galleries full of images which are copyright infringements. if you save them, flip them (mirrored) and do a google image or tineye search, they come up with suicide girls logos on them, etc. I would be surprised if there is any original content in those galleries. the user is plagarising the works of artists, at a profit.
