# About me
A current resident of SoCal, I have been an art appreciator for 6+ years here at dA. I've turned what were originally pursuits (read as "poor attempts") in visual arts into fuel for my ever expanding culinary endeavors/creations. Consequently, you'll likely find me lurking but rarely posting my own stuff now-a-days as I pop by to enjoy the shared gifts and talents of others while seeking inspiration of my own. You'd be surprised what effects visual art have upon the psyche of a cook.The stuff I like visually is what some might call "eclectic." I enjoy everything from photography to comic and concept art and styles from classical displays of the human form to homemade steam punk creations. I may not be able to write a dissertation on fine art but I know what I like.
That's just a slice of me. If you see my comments or I fave something, feel free to say "hi." I'm always up for a good conversation and who knows, your work or influence could be my next muse.

Yeah, with some of the places out there in this world, the appreciation of "home" becomes quite apparent after lengthy travel like you did. Maybe I'll feel that same way after I make my road trip this upcoming week.

Your fav movies are all in my highest regards ^^. hehe. and the only band I know is Seether, i love their latest (remedy, broken) and sympathic, and fine again. Amaizng, since their all acoustic versions for me.

Yeah, they're pretty good flicks. I've got more but I tried to limit that space and not crowd my front page too badly. Seether is great. I've seen them live 3 times now and had a killer time. The other bands are all good in their own respects as well. They may not be massively varied in the genre but they all do have something different to bring to the table. The only real "oddball" is Cowboy Mouth. They're some of the best southern American rock around and just a fun change of pace. If you want a sampling check out "Jenny Says" in a web search.
