Long time...
Still haven't finished the pic--been so busy with family, holidays, and home renovations. *sigh*. I don't deserve my space on this site right now--so I need to get going again.

Hope you had a great holiday break. I have had Flu over the Christmas period, and one of my HD's died. Anyhow, all back up and running. Need a big kick up the but to get me going again, Dark nights after work just don't help.

Flu--ugh. We had it twice in Dec. Both times lasted two weeks--nightmare! The kids were ok, though--seems the echinacea worked on them. Ha!

My problem has been that I'm not doing work that I would normally choose for myself--as I did before--and then I'm not finishing it. It sits and I find other things to do. The works are good--just not what I want. That will be changing. That sounds callouse--but it's not meant to. Anyway--if you can call what I've done works--lol.

Well, I have put my camera in My Glove box, in the car, with the intetntion of shooting at least something during the week. :lol, now all i have to do is stop and get out.

I just got back from Ohio. My step-father passed away, so I flew up there to be with mom. She took me to the National Air Force Museum and to Carriage Hill Living History Farm. The latter is such a beautiful place to visit. The opportunity for beautiful picture taking is definitely there. If you're ever in Ohio--you may want to check this picturesque site out.

Thank you. It was swift and painless. He had a stroke in his sleep. He (my step-father) and mom had a very nice evening together and there are no bad partings or memories to linger upon. She has shown amazing strength I hadn't expected of her. Very kind of you to comment.

Well, when we win the lottery or retire and buy the requisite Winnebago--hehe--maybe I'll get to see your beautiful (so I've heard) state. I don't like pics of me, so this is the only semi decent one I could find . Usually it's me behind the lense and that's not necessarily a good thing. The blame must go to the camera! Yeah, that's it!
I lived in Richmond, Va. for five years in mid-grade school. The parks and land are so beautiful there. My goal is Ireland. One day...(see above-hehe).
For now--just having access to your and others pics is rewarding enough. Thanks for them.

Thanks for missing me!!!. I have had a lot on my plate, My Boss has died and I have been left keeping things running till a buyer can be found, oh and of course my camera is dead, but it should not be too long before I buy myself a new one
