Your work on MWO styled non MWO mechs are amazing! Turkina, Dragon Fire(you made this thing look amazing compared to its derpy art and fixed the locations too!), and Gunslinger I especially like! Keep up the good work!

These are some awesome things for Mechwarrior and battletech. I hate it that these will never make it in the game. But there may be a day where it could happen. But besides the point, BEAUTIFUL! Wish there was also taunts, the locust jumping, atlas flipping people off, thats just nice.

I have fun making your builds in tabletop, especially the ones with little info. Makes it interesting. I have done the Timber Wolfs and Linebackers so far.

Cool. I never played tabletop so I have no idea how they would run

Some look like they would run well. I had to make some changes to make the builds legal for tabletop. Like for the Warden, MASC has to be hardmounted to an omni mech. Like how the Shadowcat has MASC on all variants, cant add it to omnis that don't, and cant remove it from omnis that do have it. So I replaced it with a Super Charger, in table top it has a similar effect and can be pod mounted on omnis(for bonus fun, it can be stacked with masc for even more speed like the Fire Moth G, with both combined I think it can run about 270kph) For the Crusader, removed 2 Jump Jets(on a mech that runs about 86kph, can only mount 5 normal Jump Jets max, so I replaced them with a Targeting Computer and a Light Active Probe. Last the Spectral Wolf, in table top the Targeting Computer size is based on the tonnage of weapons it works with. So I changed the Small Pulse Lasers to ER Small Lasers to remove 3 tons and it allowed the targeting computer to fit (Clan Targeting Computers weigh one ton and occupy one critical slot for every five tons of equipment they control)
So there you have it, for the most part it keeps the Flavor of the builds while making them Legal(as long as custom mechs are allowed lol) I have gone and done all of the omni mechs you have done art for, I like working around the limitations of the omni mechs. Of course for mechs that don't have the weapons they have listed on them, I have to take best guess on what is on it based in your art. Ok, wall of txt done.

Yeah your looking at old builds for those Timbers, I already did another pass on them. I should update that first post to avoid confusion.

LOL, I just found your posts on MWO forums showing the builds of some of the other mechs you did, I must compare with what I made. Lets see how well I guessed on these

They didn't respond to the application I didn't send. You have to expect that sort of thing these days.

Hey why don't you? You have the pen skills for clean TRO art.

compared to your work, my stuff looks like kindergarten, man. Β And my consistency isn't where it needs to be.... I really need to force myself into using a tablet so I can clean up my line work more... but just feel like I'm trying to draw with my off hand every time I use one.Β

Heck I don't even get commission requests here, so I think I'm a ways away from being where i need to be.Β

I had the same problem as you transitioning from pen and pencil. I tend to draw rough using equal amounts of brush and eraser tools. I'd switch to a mouse and the line-tool for more rigid lines if needed because there is no way I can straight up draw a straight line or smooth curve on a tablet first try. Expensive screen tablets might be easier for that though.

yeah, Alex showed me the unit he uses over at PGI.... but baring a 10,000$ donation (which I would probably really need to use elsewhere).... ain't happening. Β Just my lil Wacom Bamboo.

Hey mate, I made your Warden Timber Wolf hero in MWO. It kicks some serious behind. I couldn't do the AMS units of course, but I included a TCOMP1 and Active Probe. I could strip those for heat sinks but not sure yet. Works rather well when given the chance but the ghost heat is an absolute killer.

Nice. Two PPCs run hot on any mech, but you wont be getting any ghost heat from that build. I had a lot of success with a similar setup too.
