For the record - I also have a Y!gallery account that I upload every other week or so. Though, it has much raunchier boy/boy things on it - so if you don't like that kind of thing I don't recommend checking it out. But you know, otherwise, I'm pretty active there.

Shit. Your gallery is amazing. Haha, you weren't kidding about the degree of 'raunch', if you will. <3 I love your works so much! Unfortunately, I'm not all that active in the way of comments and faves on y!gal, myself. For one, my computer's located near my living room at home, and it's a little hard for me to go on y!gal without constantly looking over my shoulder. I'm not a fan of how y!gal is organized, and the Search option always freezes my browser. I also can’t view timestamps for some reason. I always see “Posted on” but nothing after that ;(

So since circumstances prevent me from being active on there, I’d like to give you one big comment on your gallery and its material thus far XD;

I love the way you draw male anatomy and toned, defined musculature. :3 Nothing much to say there haha, abs make me happy. While you’ve consistently shown skill in drawing the male anatomy, I feel as though you’ve shown improvement in some of the smaller, finer areas of the human body. Some of your older works had a few issues with proportion with hands, as well as making them look natural. In some instances, you’ve even roughly sketched them in, avoiding drawing them clearly altogether. But like I said, you’ve definitely improved. For instance, consider the progression between - [link] [link] and [link] Loads better in my opinion. Another area where I feel you’ve improved is the way you draw faces. It’s sometimes hard to pinpoint a particular style in which you draw faces because of your tendency to draw them either wide, [link] or narrow, [link] But I’ve come to notice that much of your work favors a slightly narrower face. I think you’ve improved in the way you’ve structured this narrower face. Consider [link] and [link] for example.

In the few works you have of characters that don’t feature their bodies, you show great talent in allowing emotion to serve as the primary focus of the picture, proving that you can draw more than just a hot body. Take [link] and [link] for example, (although I much prefer the latter to illustrate my point across. sasuke looks stunning there, and his lips! they look so realistic). I also love the way you introduce humor into some of your works, such as [link] (the title! it’s simple, but very kakashi-like), and [link] (one of my favorites ;D horny tenzou needs attention nao. and kakashi with glasses has just become my new fetish. he looks so hot there, hnnngh).



And it's so nice of you to offer! I’d be delighted if you drew Hisagi Shuuhei from Bleach :3 He’s my everything. Hahaha, as if my deviantID wasn’t a dead giveaway :3 Thank god I didn’t make it something stupid like i-love-shuuhei or anything similar to that when I first made this account. If possible, could you draw inspiration from any one of these pictures? :3 [link] or [link] or [link] They’re my absolute favorites of yours. Kakashi can have my babies, even though that’s biologically impossible haha. But yeah, happy trails make me happy >;D Tenzou in that last picture is divine <3 Except for the placement of his left thumb, the rest of him is a major success <3

And yes, I do think I'm improving, but I've still got a long way to go. But that is what practicing is for.

Someone thought that I had traced something. Which, actually, is a remarkable compliment. But sadly, also means that I'm being punished for something I can't prove I didn't do. So they've suspended me for two weeks.

Now I'm just going to have to be hella careful about the things that I post on Y!.

But on the bright side, now I can stop neglecting my deviantART account.

I'm glad that I wrote that note on Y! the other day explaining what I feared might happen. Because they didn't even give me a warning about WHEN they would suspend me. I tried to log in this morning and couldn't at all. So at least people know what's up.

Well, to tell you the truth, I think some of the rules Y! has are pretty strange. I understand that they want original art even if it's fanart, but in my opinion there's nothing wrong in usind reference. After all, we're not perfect and we make mistakes, it's only natural.

If you're not sure whether you could post something you can always ask the mods for help. That's what I did, when I wasn't sure if it was okay to post the second chapter of my story 'Blind Date'
