I love them mostly because of how they keep getting kidnapped or whatnot and need to be rescued so much when they should be the most powerful ponies in Equestria, yet they keep getting outsmarted every time by the villains.

Hilarious, yes, but I pin the blame on the writers for setting up the plot so they have to be rescued half the time from the villain.

I mean, in the Season 6 premiere, Celestia and Luna helped to save the Crystal Empire, then in the finale, they get screwed over with being kidnapped with everyone else and needing to be rescued from the Changeling Hive since Chrysalis had made sure she was ready this time with her invasion and took no chances in leaving any of the Mane Six or Royal Family left to confront her.

What do you mean? Are you referring to the Princesses needing to have their sorry flanks rescued again because the writers designed it like that?

I was hoping that they would've at least given Celestia and Luna a chance to fight back like how they tried to hold off the Frozen North before being captured and cocooned.
