i'm a student artist entering art school with the hopes of becoming an illustrator.

OhMiGosh! You'll never guess! I was walking into my bank, minding my own "bidnez" and there it was! I had to do a few double takes but ended up shouting, "It's Martha!" The teller nodded a little like, "yep... That's what the card says." I looked atΒ the tellerΒ andΒ smiled a little, then whispered creepily, "No. You don't even know. I KNOW Martha." It made our transaction a little awkward.

Haha yeah that's exactly what I do. I don't stay up randomly if I'm not talking to someone on there. I usually get bored by then and sleep; but if there's someone willing to talk to me on there then yeah I'll stay up.

I feel the need to update because it's been so long and my lazy butt doesn't seem to want to get into gear lately.Β
I am officially off for the summer (I mean, besides maybe working or something) so Facetime-ing or Skyping would be awesome! I hope that your first year of college went well and that you survived.Β
AS for me, I survived my first year and I'm transferring to a school in Chicago that specializes in animation. I'm suuuuper excited, and I plan on sending you my address for there once everything is set into stone.Β
But it has been way too long since we have last chatted. Things were so busy for my these past few months but hopefully I'll get a nice break before they pick back up again.Β

Woohoo, summer! I am off as well, and my first year of school has been wonderful, frankly I didn't really want it to end.

I'm not so sure what to do with my dA account right now, I'm not so active here anymore and don't really feel much of a desire to update anymore. I really appreciate what this site has done for me in the past, but my art and my perspective on art has changed so much this year that dA doesn't hold as much appeal as it used to. I'd like to get a secondary tumblr account up as a kind of art blog, but I'm not sure yet if I'm ready to do that. So I guess I'm considering getting rid of this account eventually. :/Β

So far the process has been very long and very stressful but the apartment should be taken care of (for now until Financial aid gets back to me) and school stuff is mostly done. I really hope I love learning animation. It's always something that I've been interested in and wanted to pursue. It would be so freaking cool if I could animate a video game... I would love it!Β

That's how I honestly feel too. I don't think that I will get rid of my account anytime soon because I don't have a way to keep in touch with a lot of people that I met on here. But a second tumblr dedicated to just art sounds really nice. I might have to do that someday... I think that you should totally go for it though!
