It could be fun to have them be related! Our species has a very specific background though, and I think it would only make sense if they fit into the same planet and background and everything. Is there any lore or anything for your dires?

That is understandable! I have read their background but it seems that their planet does not particularly fit the Nyeinstans home planet, Rodosia, nor the lore. Hmm... I sure we could make this work out somehow? Nyeinstans are far bigger and thicker than the Sabati with the intelligence levels of humans or higher. I have a lot of stuff on google docs that have been sitting for years and haven't been transferred to the site yet, due to school getting in the way. I've had these guys since my freshman year in HS).

Yes! I do have lore, but its very different from the Sabati's and involves magic and alchemy. There is a prophecy that involves one of my Nyeinstans being the Guardian of the world (Rodosia by default) and there is a war waged by all 5 major kingdoms that she has to end, but that's currently in progress and I plan on making that a novel series to publish. Humans see them as they would any other human or humanoid because they have interacted for hundreds, if not thousands of years all across the Galaxy.

Maybe they could share a common ancestor? Ahh, I'm not sure. Their physical appearance is similar in terms of body structure but that seems to be the only true similarity.

Yeah Sabati are the size of bears but they are actually also of human intelligence. They are just not capable of as much because they are quadrupedal and don't have thumbs, haha. But they have "gods" and spiritual leaders and stuff like that. They have a poor relationship with humanoids because humans see them as lesser, though they aren't. They drove humans off of their planet because humans started to encroach on their way of life. 
Magic exists of a kind on Tar'hana, but not in the traditional sense. They can't wield magic or anything, but plants and other forms of wildlife on Tar'hana can use it. Sabati can change their appearances for example with the use of magic flowers, fruits, and water. 

There have been a few key plot points in the group so far while it was more active, but the upcoming plot for us is a mutated Sabati that has the potential to destroy their world. It's going to be a way for me to introduce a lot of the mutations I've been waiting months to release. Stuff like horns and different fang types. The last one was when the Sabati decided to drive the humans off the planet, but then after that I pretty much gutted the group to basically remake it and start over. Then I had a multi-generational time skip, haha. 

In Sabati legends, their planet was "seeded" by an ancient space-going civilization. Maybe the same creatures seeded your planet, trillions and trillions of years ago?

That's really cool! Nyeins are far more powerful in terms of magic, but they'd probably be "lol what how'd you do that???" with all the magic flowers/fruit/water stuff because its new to them. I'm not sure if they'd practice it or not, but I can definitely see it interesting them. And ahh, poor Sabati! I'd be pretty pissed at humans too if they did that to me. The humans were smart enough not to piss off the Nyeinstans, I don't think they'd appreciate getting bit and having acidic saliva on them lol

Ooooh horns, I love horns! xD I'd love to see the mutations you're planning on releasing when they come out!

There's a cousin species to the Nyeinstans called Ventus Lupi, my friend Fizz owns, and they're on the same planet as Nyeinstans. The only difference is that they have wings and horns. So I could definitely see the idea of those creatures "seeding" Rodosia as well! That's an awesome idea :0

Yeah it's probably easier to command respect when you're more than twice the size of a Sabati, hah. 
Sabati already have 5(I think) different mane types, and I have 5 mutations that are already completed and waiting to be released. They're meant to be really rare though!

:00 sweet! Right now Nyeinstans have a simple closed species group (the first one I made 6 years ago but closed it bc of issues with irl people), but we're planning on making it an ARPG again... at some point xD I've decided to wait until we have more active members in the group and have enough people interested to keep it going... along with having a rather large staff to keep everything in check.

Right now Nyeinstans have around 6 total, but that's including markings bleeding into the mane itself haha :')

Yeah, I'm currently trying to crank up the activity in my group again. I also need more moderators, right now it's just me and my super dedicated other admin. I'm really lucky to have her tbh, she's the best. XD

I'm also trying to come up with some more mutations that are cool but not tacky. Like I originally had a ton sketched out, but a lot of them looked super dumb or unrealistic. It's a struggle. Like I had an idea for fish fins but it just looked ridiculous frankly.
