Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my gallery, I really appreciate it. I'm always open to suggestions on my work, because I know in most cases I have a LONG way to go on any given picture. *laughs*

Anyway, thanks again for the little note, it makes me feel loved.

lol! yes, do get off your butt and read more. productivity is doubleplusgood. (term taken from 1984 by George Orwell, in case you haven't read it!) well, i read things that are "bad." remember, i already said i was reevaluating my perception of the meaning of the word "good." hehe. but whatever people in general say is "good," i tend to pick up and read. i read verrrrrrry quickly, which is nice. classics are great. some of them are only classics because they're old and long, like War and Peace by Tolstoy. it's like 1,500 pages. soooo boring after a while... just long-winded russian history. i could only sit through 400 pages of it. when i picked up the dostoyevsky, i was expecting it to be similar, but it isn't! dostoyevsky is SO much better.
oh, wow. i'm a literary *snob.* ah well. if you ever need lit reccommendations, you know who to ask.

very cool. any books that manage to make dry, historical facts more appetizing are good on my list. ah, thanks! it was a happy birthday... i spent it online. as you can see from my plethora of posts that day, hehehe. what else do i like to read? oh, god. um... right now i'm reading The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoyevsky... i read Tortilla Flat by John Steinbeck before that, Queer by William Burroughs before that, Microserfs by Douglas Coupland before that, That Hideous Strength by C. S. Lewis before that... the list goes on and on. i read practically everything good. currently i'm going on a William S. Burroughs binge, i read Junky, then Naked Lunch, then Queer, now Nova Express and The Exploding Ticket. one of my favorite books is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. i have, however, tons of favorite books. i read almost constantly. i even write *gasp!* she writes as well. i have some stuff posted on devART, but not my best. which reminds me... i have some stuff to post! *excuses herself*

oh, fucker. if you're not a good photographer, i'm going to go cry and try to reevaluate my perception of the meaning of the word "good." but i know what you mean about experimentation... the only "good" photos i ever get are just shots i take for random fun. hehe.
the space trilogy is great. bursting with christian symbolism. who else do you read?

Hey! Thanks for the message!
I went to Tanzania for a month on a "learning experience" with my university. We were the test group. It was a study abroad intensive program (12 credits in 3 weeks) with 4 classes : Globalization, Religions of the World, Travel photography (for the advanced students like me) or Principles of Photography (for the newbies), and Service. We spent half the time working with the nationals and living with the Masaai, and the other half on safari. It was an awesome experience! I hope I get to go again.
From your photos, you live in a beautiful place. I hope to make it to China someday. It has so much beautiful history.
Newsboys if my favorite group. They were just here in Michigan a week ago. This is long enough now, I will stop typing. take care. You're on my devwatch!

Is the quilt supposed to be a kind of safety blanket? Or is it purely an object to clench a fist around?

Thanks for the comment on my poem "You think you proved something" I appreciate it.

Yes there is sadness and anger there. As a military man and as a policeman, I was always saddened and angered at any senseless loss of life. And when it is a young person taking their own life, it is even harder.

Thank you for the comment on 'Windows to the Sky'. I've looked at the photo again and I do agree with you and anon-y-mouse. So, I went and redid the photo then updated my submission. Thanks for the constructive criticism as well. Not many people these days put much thought into what they have to say.

Hey, thanks a lot for the comment on "It wasn't supposed to be art 1". Everything is art, but this series was inspired by my mom (who is not on DA) who looks at things like a regular person, maybe not quite as good as people on DA. I agree that everything is art! Of course!!
