it was nice to meet you too, I was going to ask you to see your art, but figured deviant is a lot easier. I'm a fan of all forms of art, but I especially like fantasy/anime. i try to post stuff, but lately i feel like i have no time for art >.< sad. but hopefully in the near future i will have some pieces up. im working on some completely new and dif things. trying to branch out of my art bubble haha

Branching out is the best thing to do for art really. I have myspace (and even started a facebook since friends are leaving myspace for it). I have my website link there, and post some art/poetry there as well. We can always mutually add to exchange ideas. It's very rare to find an artist here lol. Well there are some artists, but not many that are of a similar type to me.
Also, props for painting. I'm not sure if I told you this yet? Painting is one of the hardest things to do, and you have a natural talent for it. Have any desire to do oils?

well I'm sure when you give it a shot you will do equally well with oil (if not better). I guess it depends how patient you are, you seem very patient so it could be your favorite medium in time.
Do you look forward to working at a tattoo/piercing parlor? Will you get to do your own work for them?

and yeah im definately looking forward to working there. the environment and people i feel is much more like me. cus most places i go into n i get wierd looks for having piercings n such lol.
but yeah i hope to get into tattooing, so i can use my art in a creative and fun way. (:
i will have to "try out". basically bring like a portfolio and they will see if they like my stuff or not. then i can start training :]

You're a lot better than most I know. Time will definitely hone your skills and make you into a painter. My grandmother (who works predominantly in oils) says they're the best because they dry slowly... I've never tried. My younger brother garrick works with them and agrees. I'm sure you'd do wonders.
