Mine was part of a college project, for an information design course. I started by tracing most of the pathways and water features (I made some changes, mostly to save time). The trees I made my own symbol, then spread them out and re-coloured as needed. Some of the symbols in the legend were from free fonts I found, the animal icons were my own. It can be tricky to find an existing map online sometimes for public areas and such, but even if you can find a printed one and scan it, that should help provide a good foundation.

long story. I left after high school when I joined the navy, and I've moved around a lot since. I lived in Beverly for a while during college, after leaving the military. well, I'm currently living in Alabama.

I do miss it some, mostly because it's familiar and where my family is. I miss them terribly.
I know my mom used to take us to Maudslay when we were kids, but I can't recall the last time I was there.

That's quite a bit of moving around, I hope you get to come up and visit them soon.
It's the opposite with me. I want to stay around this area but my parents are moving to Florida, and I don't want to go there.
