thanks for the comment on my parkour shot, yea that thing is quite low, its the highest i can find where i can do stuff within like 20 minutes of bike ride.

I was amazed at that tarantula skin as well! It was cracked open on the top, where it had crawled out Supposedly they are extremely vulnerable right after shedding their skin

To answer your question, the simulated 3D effect evolved from the Perspective transformation command in PhotoShop. I laid out the all linework in 2D, then put a sharp perspective on it to get the sensation of depth in the piece. Simple, really.
