I wanted to suggest a game series. its called Rune Factory! If you've ever hear of Harvest moon, RF is basically a fantasy version, so it has a plot line.
I JUST LOVE THAT SERIES and I think you might also. The art is REALLY pretty and it's SUCH A FUN GAME!!! >w<
The first game of the series is for the DS, then the Wii and the rest are for the DS aside from one called Rune Factory Oceans/Tides of Destiny.
The main character (or the person you play as) changes, but here is the very first one you play as for 2 of the games:

But you have to order the games if you want to play one, cause most stores (well in america) dont sell off the shelf, its more popular in Japan so u could probably find it.
