i just really wanted to say i loved your poem Emo? and i see a lot of people do too it really pisses me off when people hate on emos for being diffrent. i get yelled st 24/7 by my mom about "too much eyeliner" plus everytime we go shopping she pulls out the frilliest pinkest thing she can find, i hate pink so much... anywho a lot of other people freak out for me being athiest, and so many more for cutting. i'm just glad you have this, it makes me happy so just thank you for being alive

Quite nice that you wanna speak for all thos "emos" out there. But I'm sure it's not that easy to put them in two boxes (cutting/not cutting).
I think all of you emokiddies have a huge problem with attention. That's all. You maybe wont believe, but there are actual people out there that cry and are sad without being blackpainted all over. People have emotions, it's not only you.
And what !dreams2remember already said. There's much more agony in the world than in your stupid, little lifes. Already thought about that?

people hate emo kids because everyone knows emo kids dont have it as bad as they make it seem

the only way an emo kid can understand what real despair is.. is if they are throw in a war torn country, a place where they are not safe, a place where people die everyday, women get raped everyday, people are tortured and burned alive!! and no matter how much you need help, you wont get it!!

thats real sadness and despair, that real pain... emo kids need to wake the fuck up and be happy with what they have!!

you think you see emo kids in iraq, in africa, in Bosnia... I dont think so!!

They judge themselves.
They're selfish
They're hypocritical
and they're whiny teenagers.

Everyone goes through tough times in their life. I'm most certain your life isn't that horrible.
Don't judge yourself and tell me not to judge you.
Your mother must really hate you if she feeds you, gives you clothes, and lets you live in her house.

THough I'm not a fan of teh emo croud I really njoyed your poem Emo? I would just like to comment that the line "we're not out to kill anyone" would flow better and be more impacting if you didn't say "anyone", just end the line at kill It fits so much better.. anyway that's jsut teh editor in me speaking. Loved the poem well written.

And falling for stereotypes and narrowing down the necessary requirements to be emo (cause these days it seems like you have to have a huge list of necessary requirements and be depressed to be emo, shouldn't liking emo music be enough??, besides, most people who say their emo don't even match the stereotype)

Besides, i notice a few seem truly feel that humans can be happy, well as charming of a thought as it is, were still pathetic, hairless apes that are always on the search for something that doesn’t exist. We can be content (for short amounts of time, but we will NEVER be happy.

about your EMO's poem...
i think an emo is a selfish person, who only cares about what happens to him/her, and nothing else. Don’t you think the africans would be emos, because life has put them in worse situations than you?? have you thought about it? have you thought that you have something to eat at least every day???, you haven't, have you?? just think about the people that surrounds you, their problems... now look at you, and say to yourself " damn! at least i have some money.. little, but i have some!" now don't cry for every problem that seems to have no solution and instead, start acting!, the world is ending, and the worst we need, is people who just sit down and cry, waiting for the world to change for their tears... is that what you’re gonna teach to your kids if you ever have?? “hey son, if you have problems go cry to your room, and everyone will manage to make u feel better” I don’t think you want them to be like that!!! So stand up and shout!, let everyone see you, and if you hate them, let them know who rules! do not just sit and cry because mummy told you you can't go to the party!!!

I totally agree with yur emo poem. just coz i have depression and im a teen why does it make me emo?
but someone who is older and depressed - they just have depression. i am so sick of people hating on emo's just coz we dont see the world in the same light (or any light) doesnt mean we are bad people.
we dont choose to live this way, all sad and shit, its as if we want it that way? NO! we dont, we didnt choose this life. anywayz THANKS!!!! AND GREAT JOB!
