Yeah it was a combined Cel-Ground coloring first. There is usually stronger colors in real Cel shading. But I used a light ground color and put more color in the airbrushing. The original size of the Mirai pic was 1653x2338. I used 34 Layers for that one. That's because I color with mouse and I don't get the same precision as if I would use a wacom. The thing is that when you schrink it more then 60% you lose coloring here and there. So you have to be very careful when you schrink it.

I don't want to open the huge PSD file again But look at this [link] ground colors with some shadings. Add more shadings in that [link] And go wild with the airbrush It's pretty simple actually. Didn't take me long to figure out the basics. Now im experimenting with cel and airbrush, new brushes and layer settings. It's pretty kewl actually
