contest entry for 's Steampunk Costume Contest

I was not familiar with the steampunk fashion scene (till i knew about the contest), but i tried my best to capture it XD. I didn't go too mechanical cuz i wanted to keep it simple seeing as these designs can be quite complicated to make. I think it can be made in a month

the concept:
she is a dragon trainer/tamer (is that acceptable in steampunk world??? well it is in mine ) the gun does not shoot bullets, but electricity (like a laser beam without the laser lol) got some inspiration for it from Outlaw Star's Caster Gun, I always liked it. The bottle is some sort of potion, perhaps to heel burn wounds?? the big belt is the gun belt, the small belt has a small baggie attached to it in the back so it is not visible here, it's for storing stuff...like that potion bottle lol. She has an aviator hat/goggles because she rides the dragons, it's all for safety I also chose to do pants cuz I figured she would be active and a skirt would get in her way, that's why the small skirt she has is also tied up XD. And finaly spats that are fireproof to keep her feet from accidentally burning
