Appearance: The first thing people notice when they see Kap Adlaw is probably his fist. Kap is handsome in the rugged fashion that only a man who has taken more than his fair share of blows to the face can be; it's almost as if he purposely used other people's fists to beat it into a more pleasing shape. He has strong and striking features, with a Roman nose that had obviously been broken in the past and an oblong jaw that always seems to be adorned with stubble. His almond shaped eyes are a shade of sparkling light brown that seem to always to catch the light of whatever room he's in. Kap's physique could be described as that of a swimmer's or a sprinter; his slender form almost armored by the tightly wound muscle rippling under bronzed skin. Despite his seemingly smaller stature, Kap is in peak physical condition. His hair is black, straight and shaggy, usually fairly messy. Kap usually doesn't do much with his appearance, opting for the "roll out of bed and forget about it" method of styling.

As for clothing, he's just as lazy. He opts for slim fitting clothing to accentuate his movements, like how parkour practitioners occasionally wear duct tape to stop air from becoming trapped in their clothes when they move. Since he left Cipher Pol, Kap is known to wear a pretty simple, thin gray t-shirt with the image of a skateboarding badger on it, with the word "Radger" emblazoned above it. Not even he knows why, really. His pants are black, with rips in each of the knees. He wears a simple pair of what look like black tennis shoes with blue laces. He always has a plain blue bandana tied around his left thigh, but it serves absolutely no purpose.

Personality: Kap is a pretty indolent young man. He is not really a bummer to be around, he just has a subdued personality; he often seems vacant or sleepy. He’s been suspected of drug addiction before but these accusations are all false. He’s just a mellow guy. Nothing really seems to bother him, which is probably because he spent the first half of his life in absolute Hell, but he's not keen on showing it if other does bother him. Rather, he uses sarcasm as his Spartan shield - deflecting comments and jambing you in the ribs with sardonic retorts. Some people see him as dim, but that's not true - he was a member of the CP9, after all, and was a pivotal part in the Battle of Marineford. Others believe he is hiding something, unable to trust him because of his actions at that very battle. However, Kap is truly and wholly loyal to the revolutionaries.

Devil Fruit Description: The Kilo Kilo no Mi allows Kap to change his body weight from 1 to 10,000 kilograms without, in anyway, changing his body shape.

Strengths:

CP9 Techniques - Kap is a master of soru, able to move so fast he leaves afterimages, but he's familiar with the other techniques as well. Since he's focused so heavily on soru, he is lacking in other categories.

Speed - Kap has always been naturally fast, but nobody naturally moves this fast. With combination of his natural speed, his devil fruit ability and his mastery of the CP9 technique "Soru," Kap's movements becomes damn near impossible to follow without the use of haki. Kap uses momentum from this speed to fuel the power from his punches, easily capable of punching right through stone.

Martial Arts Training - Kap is a master martial artist, having trained his entire life on how to take down a Human being with your bare hands. He has enough training that most of his moves are on a subconscious level, just blind rage swings off the rote.

Haki - Kap is fairly good with haki, able to use both kenbunshoku haki and busoshoku haki. He specializes in armanent haki as it's the only means he has of competing with logia users.

Weaknesses:

Range - The obvious weakness would be that Kap's critical focus on close quarters combat has left him entirely unable to fight at any other range.

Unarmed - Kap doesn't have any weapon at all, meaning he has to be within arm's reach to strike and causing him to rely on his evasive as abilities to avoid damage from attacks.

Strategy - Kap normally just barrels towards opponents in an attempt to end fights quickly, relying on movement to build momentum for his powerful attacks. Restricting his movement cripples his techniques and damaging his legs makes him virtually useless.

Standard Devil Fruit Weaknesses - Kap has a devil fruit, meaning he is suspect to the reading traditional weaknesses that accompany such a boon. He cannot swim and he's weak to seastone.

History: Kaptan Adlaw was born in a forgotten kingdom that no longer exists, destroyed by a marine buster call when he was only 12. The island was called Rattle Island, known at the time for their ancient warrior-like culture, rigid martial arts training and abhorrence of the use of any weapon besides their fists. The training starts at a very young age, compulsory for every citizen. All Kap has ever known was this training.

A prominent revolutionary group was holed up in Rattle Island, known to be the best of the best of their time. They were protecting a devil fruit they had found, which proved to be the Kilo Kilo no Mi. The Marines threw everything they had at them and the kingdom did not stand a chance, being mostly caught in the crossfire. The island fell even before the revolutionaries, who thought it'd be a good idea to actually use weapons. Kap watched the last revolutionary succumb to severe burns on his body. Right before he died, he gave Kap the fruit. His last words were "Don't let them have it."

Kap stowed away on the ship of a vice admiral known as Honey. He remained undetected for a week, when he was caught trying to sneak into the galley to raid the larder. Luckily, Vice Admiral Honey was docked on a neighboring, poverty-stricken island known as Oddity Springs and assumed Kap was a starving native. Being the nice lady she was, she took Kap in.

Kap joined the marines under Honey's insistence, not really having anywhere else to go. He proved to be quite the fighter and quickly rose in the ranks until he became a CP9 agent at only age 16, being the youngest person to achieve the honor. His rigorous training and devil fruit abilities proved to be a tremendous boon for him.

When Kap was 21, Vice Admiral Honey was killed in combat. Irrational as it was, Kap blamed the marines for this as well.

Kap had heard of the revolutionaries, but never believed they stood a chance. That was until the battle of Marineford, when he first laid eyes on the revolutionary leader. It was an inspiring fight. Kap was dumbfounded as the chaos of battle flowed around him like water beating against a rock. It was then that Kap Adlaw would cement his name as a traitor.

One of his fellow CP9 agents was using the distraction of the battle to try and snipe the revolution's leader. Kap did not know if he would've succeeded, but he knew he couldn't allow it to happen. Kap snapped, ripping off his uniform, beating the sniper's head in and proceeding to flank a regiment of Marines. He did not know how many of his former comrades he killed that day, but he does know the remaining marines are not happy with him.
