Her design is inspired by Vampire the Masquerade according to the original artist (finn _frei on Instagram).

I tried a lot of things drawing this, reason why it looks messy. I find painting without lineart much more enjoyable because of how freeform it is. Still, learning how to do lineart properly is something I'm working on. If you have any tips with working with lineart I'll gladly take them.

Anyway, I'm trying out croquis now and my attempts look really bad. Doing it to improve on speed because I'm taking so long to paint things. Total time spent on this is around 6hrs. That's embarrassingly long haha.

If anyone is reading up to this point, thank you. Art is frustrating and well, I don't have any friends that can relate with me on art. Sharing it out in the open while being anonymous makes the journey less lonely and more interesting. I'll practice more. That's all. Thanks 🙏.
