Hi everyone!

This is a drawing I made for my DC/MK story, Lights Out. The piece is pretty much a prologue since it doesn't take place in the story but it's meant to set the feeling, since this is an AU where Kaito doesn't know Aoko so they live separate lives. Crazy right?

Aoko is still bestfriends with Keiko and Hakuba still transfers to their school. Meanwhile Kaito, who has lived a more complicated life, happens to transfer to Akako's school where they surprisingly become best friends after realizing they have similar backgrounds (secret identities, dark pasts, and basically many secrets that can't be shared to anyone). It takes them some time though (Akako still attempted to do the same things from the manga/anime which made him completely avoid her at first). For this reason, Jii and Chikage are also close to Akako and Enma (her servant) and the other way around. Also, their uniform is my own design!

Story summary:

The police have finally caught Kid, but they did it in a way no one was expecting to. Now, the thief has to deal with them while planning for a way to break free. AU Aoko and Ginzo haven't met Kaito yet and he's lived a more complicated life.
