I am not familiar with Vue, but how did you set up the lighting? Was it done manually or an HDRI? Beautiful render!

Beautiful idylic scenery marvellously depicted.

There is a certain higher level of maturity in this in the assymetric composition and muted colors yet high light contrast.

This is a great scene. I would love to know what kind of system and RAM you are using to be able to render out images like this? How long was the render?

Thank you! I actually make my personal work on a pretty old system - i7-2600K (still works like charm), 32 gigs of DDR3, and the GTX 970 Ti (4GB) is a newer addition. I honestly don't remember how long this one took to render, since the render got interrupted several times by Windows updates.

Thanks for the information. Now I see the difference. I'm plodding along with only 12 GB DDR3. Time to add some more I suppose...

With personal projects, I was actually pretty OK with 16 gigs for a long time; I ran into memory issues only once in a while... but 32 gigs do make a difference.
Not at work, though. If we need to render scenes (animations as well as stills) with multipass or G-buffer enabled, sometimes we max out 64 gigs as well.

I haven't seen the earlier work. But this one's fantastic!

Both are great, but I think I like the original better.

Thank you for your feedback! As an artist, I also find the original more eye-catching, although the lighting is lower quality. This one has a different mood, but not as powerful as the original indeed.
