Well then let me elaborate: I was saying how common this type of imagery is in the amateur photography community and that I'd rather see someone try something new and fail than make a beautiful piece of art that has been made a hundred times before.

For some reason I feel that the blur effect has either been created or enhanced with Photoshop. The depth of field in this shot just seems unnatural even for F/1.4.

Many people have told me that with this shot. I guess I just got lucky (if you could call it that), because the dof has not been touched! Oh well.. Thanks a lot

Yeah, I have to agree that it does remind me of the Kite Runner. That book is my most favorite book of all time. Have you seen the movie? It sticks almsot exactly to the book, minus a few symbolic parts.
