I actually already have a plot in progress with him on the SHRCS blog, though I haven't been able to do much with the blog in a few weeks due to work strain. I appreciate that you enjoy Spike as a character and think hes cute, but he's not actually an adoptable like traditional bitty bones. He's a rescue that's recovering and still needs a great deal of medical help and careful treatment, and I've been working on a plot with him for a little over a month before I got swamped with work.

Halo has already found a new home in the context of the blog, and is happy where he is.
Please stop asking about this, I posted these art pieces as commission examples not as adoptables, and your constant pestering is unpleasant at best. I understand that you think they're cute and they very much are, but they aren't adoptables, and I'm not simply giving them away to anyone who asks, even in the context of the rescue center blog.

Well, we only know so much at the Sanctuary, pretty much all the information we know comes from either the bitties themselves or the people who bring them in.
Spike specifically was brought in by someone who kept hearing noises from the empty apartment next door, and when they got the landlord to see what was up, they found Spike had been left behind. He was in a terrible state, had been physically abused to the point where he lost his hand, and was also suffering from some pretty severe drug withdrawal.
Thankfully, since he's been with us nearly a month, he's improved massively, at least health wise. The nurse Papython in charge of the medbay worked very hard to make sure he'd be able to survive the withdrawal symptoms, and following that, we've been working to help him get his appetite back and once he's gained some weight, we're going to see about maybe making him a prosthetic for his missing hand. It's hard to really tell how much he's improved, since he doesn't talk and we aren't sure if it's a mental block or a physical ailment, but he seems a lot happier and healthier.
