Just wondering where did you get the inspiration for this piece? I enjoy it so much that I would try my hand a making something similar but different. This piece inspires me as an animator.

This was originally part of my concept art thesis project for college. The assignment was to create a futuristic vehicle. By creating this, all I was really trying to accompish was making something futuristic that I would really enjoy painting. I love cats, but I don't always enjoy making sci-fi paintins. So I ended up mixing the two and creating this.
After much research, I found and I drew a lot of ideas from a sculpture by Andrew Chase called Steampunk Cheetah. [link] Its a complete steam-punk styled metal cheetah sculpture.
