Thanks. I wasn't expecting any members to play this until I completed the whole thing and submit it to the club. I'm glad you enjoyed it but I can't find any reason for your laughing except the dialogue and those are hard to read when you're playing. Maybe that's why you lost... That or you were laughing at how I'm adding too much to the classic Pong game. Be careful of what you say cause if I cling onto your words, then I'll make you draw an epic title screen WITH ALL THE CHARACTERS and then some and I wouldn't want to put that amount of work on you. Thanks anyways.

Oh, I had this cool idea while playing it! You should add an animated picture of the character talking! Oh and I noticed one thing, if you have the text box at the bottom people wont be able to read it because they're looking at the top the whole time to see where the attacks are coming from. That could be just me though, I'm not sure.

Yeah. I wanted to add pictures once I get the game down so that's why there's the empty white square next to it. Nice input. I didn't really think of that but I don't know where else to put it... perhaps in the middle?

You mean the Text box? I just thought putting it on the top could work. Hmm, I just got the stupid idea of voice acting....but I'm not sure that would work with a flash game. But if you could, then you could keep the text box where it is.

Aww... thanks. I think animation between PS and Flash is basically the same idea so you don't have to learn Flash. Just send me the file by email and I should have no problem of converting it. Each character has a couple of pictures that are required for them. I'm too lazy to list them here but I've placed them in the artist's comment of this dev. [link] I'm guessing putting it at the top could work but the problem is that most of these items have coordinates programmed into them. If I have to move everything down, then I'd have to find each coordinates and changed them again so that doesn't make me too willing to relocate the box. Also I think that half of the people will want the box at the top and half will want it at the bottom so I won't be able to please everyone. I thought of voice acting too but I haven't figured out how to do sound or even have any equipment to record things. Finding voices would also be hard and I wouldn't wanna ruin your character. XD

I have a friend that makes flash videos with voice acting in them, I can ask him if it's possible to do that for flash games. I do a bit of voice acting with him so I could do Lexyla's voice and I have a microphone. Maybe I could help find some voices? Hahah, it's totally up to you though. It would be easier to just focus on the game play then what the characters are saying. :3

If you do do animations, please don't overwork yourself. I know you have your own Lexyla comic that you're working on. Here's an example of my picture of Xydan for you to have an idea of what I'm looking for.

Gosh this game is difficult. I haven't won once, but I've come close.
I did come across an interesting bug in my adventures in playing as Xydan:
This one time the ping pong ball was sort of "glued" to the left side of the staged. Sure, it still moved down to Xydan and the ball was free when it hit the paddle but just something to look out for I guess.

Trace just opens "Output Window" and write something you want like:

This example will show (trace) key number on keyboard (when key is pressed)

Ah. Not only have you read my plea for help but you've also read enough to know my reaction. Nice work. There were times here that I wanted to give up and be ashamed that I couldn't make a simple pong game... You should be happy. Before Noxsaj didn't have a MP bar and so he can fire off a laser beam as long as he's in front of you and you're still moving. Also you're right in that I had used both pong and a space shooter game to make this and thanks for the help. I just need to get the game mechanics down and then I'll start doing the art so I'll ask you for help then.

I think the MP bar is a nice touch. It keeps him from letting off a HUEG barrage of lasers so you actually have a chance at hitting the ball.

I'm glad it doesn't bore everyone. Noxsaj has a magnifying glass and he can focus sunlight to shoot beams. They don't get along and he sometimes set Xydan on fire. Yeah, graphics would be nice. Thanks for the input.

I want to have the enemy only shoot 3 bullets at a time. In the bullet's first frame, I have:
