Another full background drawing!
First of all, this drawing is not related to my fantasy setting. They may be cats, but this time they have nothing to deal with my fantasy feline race, they are just two regular anthro cheetahs. Thought I'd mention it in order to avoid confusion.
Anyways, this couple of cheetah hunters is trying to look for a prey, and they certainly look quite skilled at that. Their weapons and clothes are based on Central African ones, and I had a lot of fun searching for references.Β The sword the male has is a weapon called shotel, a sickle sword, and the scabbard is made from an oryx horn (yes, they really did that).
For those who don't know, cheetahs with the fur pattern like the female's one are called "king cheetahs", and it happens because of a recessive mutation.
About the drawing, I'm not very satisfied with it. I messed up in a lot of areas, and the paper was not the best either, absorbing the colors in a crappy way. I also blame the lack of inspiration.
In any case, hope you like it! Any suggestion, comment and critique is most welcome!

This is gorgeous! I love the coloring and the color scheme! 
The characters look beautiful as well, especially that king.. er queen cheetah ;D , I don't see why would you not be satisfied with this work! There's a lot of gorgeous detail on the characters and the colors look so vibrant!

Eh, not sure how to explain, I'm just not totally happy about how I put down the colors, and the paper was not of the best quality, so the coloring didn't look as smooth as it should be in some places (like the queen's dress)

wooow, I must say I'm loving these detours from your main world to draw something differnt (well not thAT differnt) sicne it's so fun to see your take on differnt cultures. I always thought your greatest strength was your love for cultural details on the clothing and appearances. You always put such love and care into those details making the world look lived in and the characters that inhabitats in it feel all the more real.
Honestly I've never had that much of fascination for the African cultures but the details on this drawing MAKEs me interrested! fantastic job (as usual
