I absolutely LOVE the Gypsy Vanner horses!! they are so magical and I have vowed to own one one day! My boyfriend is even captivated by them as well and he's no horse-nut like I am lol! I really am starting to draw them a lot more! even dabbling with trying the wavy mane in my own art style.hows it look in this one? It was actually fun for me to draw the mane and color it for once!
In this picture, I wanted to capture the romance I can see happening with Gypsy Vanners. they are just so Majestic, I can't help but think perfect romance novel horse! lol forget knight on a white horse! I'd love a good rugged man on a Gypsy stud! XD
any way, since I have a relationship where the woman is into horses, but the man only dabbles a bit (most horsey relationships i've seen are like this) I wanted to capture a female horse rider giving a kiss to her lover while she was on the back of her Gypsy! When it wasn't colored, I hated it! lol lines EVERYWHERE! but with color, you can actual see the people are not part of the horse! lol!
