This was a fun little build. A combination of an old, overdue concept and a fantastic concept for a Toa of Copper I found by . I've been really wanting to use that Steampunk Akaku made me a while back (that has kind of become my avatar on a few sites), and Bionicle 2015 finally gave me the right Dark Orange pieces to finish this up.So, sand green, copper, and dark orange was an... interesting color scheme to work with, to say the least. I think I did okay.

Awesome steampunk Matoran! I'm planning a piece of Bionicle art with a clockwork theme. Itβs a Great Being with a Time motif, and clockwork versions of Maxilos and an Iron Wolf.

Wow u did a great job tho the hearlight I kinda wish the half stud pin was a bit less noticeable or if it went all the way across. Otherwise I love the rest the custom torso and the toes really give this self-moc character

This is fantastic execution. Beautiful usage of a rare color scheme, as well as an excellent color balance. The pneumatic t-pins on the armor and the gears on the torso reallly wrap it all together, though the torso front could leave more to be desired.

Yeah, Modalt is fantastic. I'd highly recommend them if you ever wanted a custom mask. Their gallery has plenty of amazing examples of their work.

I would agree. I think you did a fantastic job with this. I really like the color combination and the color distribution. Nothing overpowers the other. Copper is a hard color to work with cause of its scarcity, but burnt orange makes a suitable replacement/accompaniment I'd say.
