For those who missed the announcement: Theme is on GitHub here: github.com/0rAX0/gnome-shell-t...
@0rAX0 : Could you perhaps update the description with the link, so that people are aware of the situation?

Any news for 3.8 update? IMHO this is one of the best themes around and I really like to see it in 3.8.

Hopefully, yes. Although I don't have a date yet. Kind of too tired to work on anything ATM. :-P

Maybe it would be a good idea to put the source code on GitHub, so other people can help. I have been tinkering with it myself, and would like to help. No theme I have used so far can match this one in terms of smooth looks...

Thanks. I'm considering doing just that.

May I ask, what shell extensions you are using for the screenshot?

I use the Quit button extension and the notification counter and GPaste.

I'm having a problem with the notifications when using this shell-theme after updating to Ubuntu 12.10 yesterday.
Screenshot: [link]
As you can see, the icon displays, but no text is there. Everything works fine with the default shell theme. Any idea why this happens?

I also experience random crashes of gnome-shell when using this theme:
Dec 8 16:09:09 t-laptop gnome-session[1985]: WARNING: Detected that screensaver has left the bus
Dec 8 16:09:10 t-laptop gnome-session[1985]: WARNING: Application 'gnome-shell.desktop' killed by signal 7
Gnome shell version 3.6.1, latest version of this theme.

I used it for a long time and I didn't see any problem. And no one reported anything either. Weird. Can you disable all extensions except the 'user themes' and try again?

Siloxke In reply to 0rAX0 [2012-12-12 18:14:23 +0000 UTC]
Done that, the notifications still don't work. I'll use it a bit longer to check out the random crashes. Thanks for your reply!

Nope, used the theme without any other extensions and it crashed again a few times during the day with the same syslog warnings as above.

Have you tried manually extracting it in ~/.themes?

This looks amazing! But I don't manage to enable it in Gnome Shell 3.6.1. Is this ready for that version?
Other themes like Faience do change, but when choosing this one it just looks like the default one.

Thanks!
Maybe you didn't install it correctly. Extract to .themes folder.
