Description
First founded many years ago, Saplis town was built during a period of extreme drought, where much of the plant life had been dying, one sapling, however, had survived, and the people of Castone made the decision to build the humble little town of Saplis around this young tree, and nurture it as it grew. Many years passed as the town slowly developed, and the once tiny sapling grew into a large, sturdy oak tree. The tree is now home to many of the local Pokémon, and is regularly admired by the residents.

This town is home to the Castone Pokémon lab, in which new trainers can choose their first Pokémon before departing on their journey across the region.
