Captain Romsca the Corsair: one of my favorite Redwall characters. She's bold, fearless, tough, sharp as her sword, and though she wouldn't like to admit it, she's a good creature.

This is only the sketch. I'll start the digital version soon so you might want to wait for that one.

When sketching this, I didn't have the book (because I don't own it). But I have a sketch of the illustration she appears in so I used that for reference for what she's wearing. I wanted that expression that says "Who's next?!" or "Come on, who wants it?!" or "I'll take you all on!"

By the way, the small verse a few paragraphs up was part of the song that she sang.
