You're very welcome Edie! It's not the equipment, it's your eye and what you were feeling at that moment. I've seen photos taken by people with insanely expensive equipment that were bland and forgettable and others that were taken by super cheap/limited function cameras that were amazing.

I know..hubby said never but last year he broke down but if I researched it more I would of gotten a lens that went to 600...this goes to only 400 but its such a fine lens that u can really crop and it does not lose its sharpness.....but heavy is the only downfall

isnt he........I stayed there for a while for this shot cause they were eating and always has head under water......got to know a few people that stopped and chatted..one about abby and the other he was telling me about a owl on the other side of the lake
