Description Cursed cupid, cursed serpent
Thou fiend who crawls upon thine belly
Envious of us who tower above
Thou snake, who strikes at our ankles,
Thine poison, infecting not our bodies,
But our hearts.
Oh what fools the gods were,
To entrust an infant with a virus so vile
This misplaced trust has wrought a foul demise
Guided by the aim of an infant,
Infected by the fang of an arrow.
Spread all too generously of late,
It grants its victim a most cruel fate.
Love consumes from within.
Love blinds us with beauty.
Love deafens us with words so kind.
Oh cursed love… Bite me!
