i modeled and rendered this in Cinema 4D R11 AR3 for ~JP-V using his character sheets . in exchange he is drawing 2 new character sheets for me of G1 Moonracer in car form and G1 Metroplex in robot form . i'm eager to model them when he finishesthese are the Transformers called Protectobots and they can combine to form a large robot named Defensor . from left to right : Streetwise (police car) , Hot Shot (fire truck) , First Aid (medical van) , Groove (police motorcycle) , Blades (medical helicopter)

From one 3D modeler to another, I just want to say how great your work is. You put a lot of detail into your models, with a real eye for proportion. Ill-proportioned models are one of my pet peeves heh. And it's nice to have female company in the biz, since there aren't a lot of us. Great stuff!
I did a fun (totally free, not for profit, and just to see if I could) project using the screenshots of your models. A mockup comic book cover starring your models. Think "paper doll" Protectobots. I'm not taking credit for it. It just felt right bringing together your awesome models with playswithworms great stories. I'm fans of both of you. I hope you can forgive me for not seeking you out beforehand to ask permission. It was a weekend-whim project that just went better than I expected.

did you model the Protectobots !? the faces are the hardest for me to make . i'm not very skilled with custom round shapes . it's good that these robots are somewhat angular

I didnt do a replica of him (or swindle) it was inspired from it but i put my own spin on it. Maybe ill dig up some renders of him later and post.

First off I would like to say I am so grateful to you for agreeing to doing an art trade with me and taking the great amount of effort + time to create these characters in your style which is more than I could ever asked for.
Each Protectobot is rendered so well with them being spot on accurate with the details.
The poses are excellent I can see how they would possibly fit in the real world with these well done dimensions.
You have done a very good job making them hold their weapons in their hands which ain't easy.
Knowing this is the final result of the art trade is outstanding and what was really most interesting was to see the journey process and development of work to get to this finalized piece.
I am so satisfied for the whole lot I've got to see and receive through your talented 3D work and can't wait to see those individual renders next month.

it was my pleasure . i really enjoyed modeling them and your character sheets made it sooo much easier . i learned a lot of new techniques during this project that will continue to help me on everything i make from now on 
when i make something i feel compelled to add my own little details . while making these there were countless times when i had to stop myself from adding extra cuts and pieces . i really wanted to make them the way you liked them . so i didn't even look at other images of them because i didn't want to be influenced by anything other than your designs . sooo , i'm really glad you like the results !
sorry that the final renders are taking so long . my character sheet renders are over 6 hours each and the single renders are lasting a little over 2 . i was finished with the bots like last weekend and this week i've been running test renders back to back , fixing lights and tweaking little problems in the models . i think i've fixed all of the little errors now . still waiting on renders . at least you'll have a little treat to look forward to each day next week
