I have nothing against her actual and canon love interest (f*ck I forgot his name xD) but... Let's be honest Francour wasn't a bad option,I actually really thought Lucille and Francour were gonna end up together. They give a nice and lovely The Beauty and The Beast vibe I guess.
And,well Francour just needs general love in his life. Family,friend,lover,any love really.

oh yeah, Raoul is perfectly fine. but his and Lucille’s supposed relationship isn’t the one that they built up in the movie, so of course we’d feel this way! Lucille and Francoeur’s dynamic is so much better written, and just /feels/ better y’know?

he has know trouble singing songs with words in the movie, but he never actually speaks outside that. so i headcanon that he has anxiety about speaking because of the way people freaked out when they first saw him. (i linked his song on the first page
