I don't have a lot of knowledge on the Zelda universe. But I was wondering if you had an idea of what happened or why Link chooses to be mute. I'm not sure if you do or not but I'm just curious. This is super cute by the way, I love your art style

it varies from game to game, but in Breath of the Wild i think the most popular theory is that he feels so much pressure to be the princess's legendary knight and the Hero, that it sort of silences him. not to mention he slept for 100 years and woke up without his memories, and people just expected him to pick up where he left off saving them. which is why i headcanon him with Major Anxiety and PTSD

While BotW Link isn't canonically mute (seriously, he isn't, when you reach the castle and head for Zelda's room and read her diary, naughty you, she writes that Link is quiet because he deals with the same level of fear to be judged by his peers as Zelda does, but he does talk to those close to him), this comic is quite adorable. There needs to be more Wild!Link Twilight!Link interaction <3
