I know I already commented on this, but I reread this and wanted to re-comment.
Yes, disciplining a child is only necessary if and only if the child is misbehaving. I'm not against seeing a mom dragging their screaming kid out of a store when they when they want something and the mom tell them no. (God I hate how they scream when the mom does not do squat, or actually give the toy to the brat. For the love of God...can they say no to the kid.).
Chris did not do anything that warranted the slap. Again...I am for disciplining children, so as long it does not result in bodily harm to the child. Standing in the corner...yes. Cutting off dessert supplies for a week...yes.

Man, I has been a while since we have last been here. Since one of us is still in school and the other finally graduated and is working, time still seems to slip by without us noticing. We are not sure when we will be back, but ever since September or so, we have been wanting to see how this story has progressed. We must say, it took a turn that we were not expecting! Kudos, 10!
We might have have guessed that there might have been going on with Christopher's family, but dang, we were not expecting this. We are quite glad though that everyone is protecting him and we look forward seeing how this story continues the next time we come back.
Keep at it, 10! It is an incredible piece of work and I hope you are very proud! We have always loved your story telling~

Yeah, it bet that will be an incredible feeling when you finish. The one who is the artist might understand that feeling very well. The other one not so mush since they are not very artsy but there are time when we still feel glad to finish something!
