Description Mr Darcy of Pride & Prejudice, because he's cool

Based on Colin Firth who played Mr Darcy in the 1995 mini-series of P & P.
Drawn with white, sepia and black charcoal on A5 grey paper.

I wanted to try this new style, and there will probably be more drawings of this kind. Drawing on non-white paper is fun, and there are many possible colours for future drawings
Also, it's probably the first time the scan looks Ok without adjustments, or at all.

First, kudos for working in charcoal and drawing one of my favorite characters. Overall, this is a great drawing, and I'd give it four out of five stars.

Since you've requested advanced critique, here are some of my suggestions: using the sepia charcoal for his fave is a subtle but nice touch which helps distinguish his face. His face still fades into the background color, though, at it looks flat compared to his collar and eyes. I'd add some more white and sepia to his face to bring it forward in space and separate it from the background. Second, the top right part of his skull looks a little small.
